Today I try to write something about my online shopping hobby and online activities. As things in Singapore are overpriced, normally I turned to online shops where I can buy similar items at a fraction of price.

The price even including free delivery by post to your doorstep. When I go to shops in Singapore, I feel like I am also paying the shop rental fees to the shop owners :-(

Below are some online shops I have had experience buying before. There are many choices and actually the same product is sold in Singapore, Philippine and other countries at higher price ! They bought their stuffs from these online shops and creating their own online shops, selling them in Singapore, Philippine etc with (much more) higher price. Why should I pay more for similar items but cheaper ?

Visit to Kranji Countryside on Sunday 11 Oct 2015

Last Sunday I organized a trip to visit fish farm at Kranji area. Thre are 9 members turned up, icluding myself. I have no idea how ghe fish farm looks like so this is quite interesting.

We found out there is nothing special about the fish farm (Khai Seng Fish Farm), the first place we visited. It is hot and the water is dirty. No colourful fish as I expected.. I realized that I went to the wrong fish farm. However we still entered in group and the owner was friendly and he explained many things to us :-))

Second destination is goat farm. It is the only goat farm in Singapore. We walk almost 1 hour from Khai Seng Fish Farm to the bus stop to take bus 925. On our way to goat farm, there were 2 dogs followed us. One black and one brown. When we almost reached goat farm, the black dog was hit by a speeding van. Half of the group did not realize what was going on. One member called Animal Protection hotline but the injury was too serious and the dog died (RIP dog).

At goat farm we had fresh goat milk. One guy drank 800ml of fresh goat milk and he felt stomach discomfort due to lactose intolerance.

Our third destination is "Bollywood veggies". I can say this is the most exciting place we visited at that day.

When I am writing this, do you know what I am thinking ?  I said to myself WTF why should I write this, I feel like a primary school student learning English.

Visit to Fish Farm in Singapore

Few years ago I went to Qian Hu fish farm with colleagues. Bus was provided and everything was organized neatly, including lunch box and soft drinks. I invited a friend from Canada who used to work as research fellow at NTUC to join the trip.

This coming Sunday I am planning to organize a trip to local fish farm, but different location. I am planning to visit "KhaiSeng Trading & Fish Farm Pte Ltd" this time. From their website, the farm can be reached by bus from Kranji MRT Station. It is free admission. Opening hours from 8am until 5pm. As I don't drive and don't have car (car is damn expensive in Singapore!), I will take bus 925 from Kranji MRT station.

I am excited to visit another fish farm on this coming Sunday ! I remember last time I saw frozen crocodile hands (or legs)  during the trip organized by company. My Canadian friend bought the crocodile meat and offered me to eat. I was like," Thanks, but no, thanks!" Eewk

There is an exiting event in Singapore at the end of October. It is "Woman Tennis" Finals ! It is a prestigious singles and doubles tournament played at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Singapore is the first city in the Asia-Pacific region to host the WTA Finals. Too bad the ticket is too much for my pocket   :-((

Beautiful Deepavali Decoration at NTUC Supermarket

This morning I went to local supermarket (NTUC or Fairprice) to buy groceries before I go to office.

At supermarket entrance,  I saw this beautiful decoration for Deepavali which will fall on 10 November 2015.
